I guess I go by the title of lead coordinator around here, but first and foremost, I’m Leasha Glick … wife to Wilmer and momma to three beautiful little people. Before I got married though, I was an elementary music teacher in three elementary schools and was in charge of six concerts a year. Those concerts involved all sorts of planning, organizing, wrangling, fixing, adjusting, and being on my toes — especially since those concerts involved about one hundred 1st and 2nd graders in one concert! So after planning our DIY wedding (and besides being stressed, loving it!) and leaving my teaching job to become a stay-at-home wife and mom, I started dreaming of doing something with weddings.

The first step to realizing those dreams was meeting with a wedding coordinator in January 2020 and planning to do some shadowing. But then … well you know what happened, so that shadowing got cancelled!

Despite the original plans falling through, I had the honor of coordinating a church friend’s gorgeous outdoor wedding at her parents’ home in June 2020 and then continued with a few more weddings in 2020/2021 (including a gorgeous wedding in CO!!!!). Turns out all those concerts and teaching experiences had helped prepare me for making on-the-spot decisions and coming up with back-up plans!
